Ever Ancient, Ever New: An Easter Symphony Performance

  • Basilica of St. Patrick's Old Cathedral 263 Mulberry Street New York, NY, 10012 United States (map)

Experience a Special Season Finale Performance by the HWO

Come experience the stories of composers both new and old celebrating the rich Catholic history of classical music. This very special concert will highlight works of living Catholic composers alongside the classic works of the past that inspired them. To celebrate Easter, we are welcoming leading American Catholic composer Frank LaRocca as well as premiering a work by our very own Jacob Beranek. Our diverse program of choral and orchestral music reflects the timeless beauty and nature of God and the energy of our faith.

Schedule of Events:

5:30 pm - Welcome Reception: Enjoy appetizers, wine/beer, and mingling prior to the performance at the Basilica's private residence across the street (Separate ticket required).

7:15 pm - Orchestra Performance: Experience the Higher Word Orchestra and Choir performing Ever Ancient, Ever New, celebrating current Catholic composers and the works that inspired them.

9:30 pm - Afterparty: Head to our nearby partner restaurant to finish the night off with appetizers, main dishes, desserts, beer, wine, and great company (Separate ticket required).
